the case for change

The loss of biodiversity is one of the greatest threats facing humanity.

Creating closer relationships between people and wildlife could be the best way to mitigate this threat. But despite a desire to do so, the wider public does not have an easy way to actively participate in conservation efforts.

Most efforts preach to the choir and don’t broaden the tent to new audiences.

The methods of engagement are overly transactional, overlook the anxiety people feel about the state of the planet, and lag behind the seismic shift in digital engagement.

The sector is overly dependent on charitable giving, and an aversion to risk prevents new business models from emerging.

the opportunity

more than 3 billion people play games - and up to 70% of them express concern about the environment*

Gamers transcend every single demographic. This will only grow as virtual worlds (and some version of the metaverse) becomes more prevalent.

our vision

We envision a world where people’s professional, personal, and social lives are enhanced through daily interactions with wildlife, simply by doing the things they would be doing anyway.

Playing a game.
Going for a run.
Holding a virtual meeting.
Learning in school.
Socializing in the metaverse.

We intend to catalyze an approach by which hundreds of millions, if not billions of people, form direct connections and bonds with wild animals around the world, resulting in a complete shift in how wildlife conservation is supported.

what we do

we use scientific data of individual animals in the wild, to create engaging digital experiences that bring wildlife stories to people where they are.

We combine storytelling, science, play and technology. Take a look at a selection of past projects >
